FITOK
Since 2015, F.LLI DEL FABBRO SRL has proudly held the authorization to use the FITOK mark in compliance with the FAO’s ISPM-15 standard (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures).
This important certification enables the company to produce and supply wooden packaging treated with heat treatment (HT), fully aligned with international phytosanitary requirements for global trade.
The FITOK mark is a guarantee of quality and phytosanitary safety: it certifies that the wood used in packaging has been properly treated to eliminate harmful organisms, insects, or pests, thus helping to prevent the spread of plant diseases across countries and continents. The HT treatment involves heating the wood to a minimum internal temperature of 56°C for at least 30 minutes, without the use of chemicals, ensuring full environmental compliance.
Thanks to this authorization, F.LLI DEL FABBRO SRL is able to offer its clients wood packaging compliant with international regulations, suitable for export and recognized worldwide. This represents a significant added value, as it guarantees easier access to foreign markets, helps avoid customs delays, and reduces the risk of issues during international shipments.

PEFC
In 2024, F.LLI DEL FABBRO SRL reached an important milestone by obtaining the prestigious PEFC certification (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), one of the most internationally recognized standards for sustainable forest management.
This certification ensures the traceability and responsible custody of forest-based products, guaranteeing that every stage of the supply chain – from the forest to the finished product – complies with strict environmental, social, and economic criteria.
Thanks to this achievement, the company is now able to offer PEFC-certified products, assuring its customers that the wood and forest-based materials used come from responsibly managed forests.
